Ward was born April 15, 1977 in MonroeLouisiana. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. For secondary educationWard attended Ouachita Parish High School. She later relocated in River Oaks High School on the summer after her senior year. There she was part of the dance and drill team. Following graduation, she briefly attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward, then 13, was modeling when she quit the school. After graduation, she relocated to New York to pursue this profession. She tried her hand in acting a few years later. In the 70s, Ward had a small part that was not credited in the soap opera daytime All My Children. Then she landed a short-lived role as NBC's prime time teen-drama Malibu Shores. Ward landed her first part on the Sunset Beach daytime soap opera and portrayed the female virgin Meg Cummings. In 1999, Ward began her movie career as Brittany Foster, the psychotic Brittany Foster of the erotic film The In Crowd. It was not a big movie in theaters however, it was a huge success with home-video and cable. Ward was in Shallow Hal in the year that followed, and performed a role of support. Ward has also appeared in several other direct-to DVD films and has made guest appearances in various TV shows including Friends. In 2009she was cast as Chloe Kmet, the mother to a young girl in the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. She got married David C. Robinson, who was a producer. The couple had a son named Cameron.
